Center Board of Directors

Jonathan G. Kramer, PhD, President: Jon is Director of the Maryland Sea Grant College, which supports innovative marine research and education, with a special focus on the
Chesapeake Bay.

Don Armour, Vice President: Don is an Associate for Stantec in Columbus, OH.  He leads other professionals in water resource efforts related to watershed planning, stormwater control and floodplain management.

Robert Tucker, Treasurer: Bob is the owner of Bob Tucker Consulting, Inc, a consulting company offering construction consulting and owner's representation services to the development and property management industry. He is formerly the Vice President of Residential Construction with the Baltimore development and contracting firm, Struever Bros., Eccles, & Rouse.

Kristin Pauly, Secretary: Kristin is Managing Director for Prince Charitable Trusts, a family foundation with grant programs in Chicago, Washington, D.C. and Rhode Island. From 1990 to 1998, she was manager of urban and metropolitan programs for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation based in Annapolis, MD. In that capacity, she wrote several publications advocating more sustainable growth in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan region.

Kathleen Blaha:  Kathy is the principal in her own firm, Kathy Blaha Consulting, LLC which provides planning and management services to conservation clients.  Previously Kathy spent 24 years working on real estate, finance and program management issues at the Trust for Public Land.

Ronald E. Bowen, P.E.: As the Director of Public Works for Anne Arundel County, MD, Ron is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Bureaus of Highways, Utilities, Waste Management Services and Engineering.  The Department manages the County's capital improvement program that includes all County owned infrastructure.  Ron has developed a keen interest in helping to lead a philosophy of environment stewardship throughout all areas of operation of the County. 

Hon. David L. Bulova: David is a Member of the Virginia House of Delegates representing the 37th District and currently serves on the General Laws and Agriculture, Chesapeake, and Natural Resources committees. He is also Senior Planner at AMEC Earth & Environmental, Inc. and works to help local governments comply with state and federal environmental regulations.

Randi Hogan: Randi is Vice President of Metropolitan Group, a full-service social change agency that crafts and integrates strategic communication, creative and resource development services that empower social purpose organizations to build a just and sustainable world.  She has 20 years of experience in senior leadership, resource development and program management in national and international nonprofit organizations.

Stella M. Koch: Stella is the Conservation Advocate in Northern Virginia for the Audubon Naturalist Society. Founded in 1897, ANS fosters stewardship of the region’s environment by educating citizens about the natural world, promoting conservation of biodiversity, and protecting wildlife habitat.  She specifically focuses on local and regional water issues and land use practices.

Glenn Page: Glenn acts as Principal at EcoLogix Group working on sustainability consulting, social enterprise and ecosystem-based integrated coastal management.  Previously he directed the Conservation Program at the National Aquarium in Baltimore, working specifically with initiatives on ocean health, tropical biodiversity and the Chesapeake Bay. Glenn has over 20 years experience in the field of Conservation Biology with expertise in applied restoration ecology and program development.

R. Fernando Pasquel: Fernando is Vice President of Michael Baker, Inc., a leading engineering and energy management firm.

Brad Rogers: Brad is founder and owner of Baltimore Landmark Homes, a development firm focusing on green redevelopment strategies for Baltimore City; Baltimore Green Construction, a general contracting firm specializing in environmentally sensitive design and construction; and City Life Realty, a real estate brokerage that combines extensive knowledge of Baltimore neighborhoods with a thorough understanding of green building.

Matthew G. Steinhilber, Esq.:  Matt is an attorney with the Baltimore office of the law firm of Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP.  He represents lenders and borrowers in a variety of commercial and real estate finance transactions, with an emphasis on healthcare facility and student housing financings.

Eileen Straughan: President and founder of Straughan Environmental Services, Inc., Eileen has over 20 years of experience in environmental science, planning, and design for transportation and land development projects.
