The Center is located in downtown Savannah GA, a beautiful historic city with a riverfront shopping/nightlife district, dozens of fountain parks, spooky cemetaries, elaborate architecture, an art school and district, and the famous lowcountry cuisine. Lodging

Book early! October is one of Savannah's busiest months so rooms will fill up quickly.

We have reserved 65 rooms for $139/night at the Hampton Inn and Suites - Savannah Historic District across the street from the Coastal Georgia Center. It is on MLK Blvd (this is not the Hampton Inn Savannah - Historic District on East Bay St.)

Room rates listed above do not include the 26% tax (6% state tax/7% city tax/ 13% room tax). Georgia-based non-profit organizations making reservations must pay through their organizations to receive tax exemption on the state sales tax.

We also have reserved a smaller number of rooms at the Inn at Ellis Square for $129/night (near riverfront and nine short blocks from Georgia Coastal Center). 877-542-7666 for reservations - mention the Center for Watershed Protection. Rooms will be held until Septmber 12, 2008.

Both hotels charge for parking at about $8-9/day. However, there are some other parking garages and some limited free parking at the Coastal Georgia Center.
