The CBSTP is pleased to provide the 2010 Calendar of Webcasts in partnership with CWP and CSN. A broad range of topics and guest speakers will provide guidance and insight on the new stormwater management regulations, strategies, and BMP specifications being adopted throughout the Chesapeake Bay watershed.
The Training Partnership is providing these webcasts alongside the CWP webcast calendar, so you will note that some webcast events are free to our Partners, while others are at a very reduced price. Please check the CBSTP Events Calendar page and the CWP calendar page periodically to see additional dates and webcast offerings that may be added.
Some advantages that our Partners can realize through the CBSTP webcast series include:
• Free and reduced cost webcasts
• Webcasts packed with information and resources for watershed practitioners and policy makers
• Our presenters have a proven track record of delivering subject materials and have consistently received high ratings by past attendees
• Earn Continuing Education Units

Permeable Pavement Design, Installation, and Maintenance
Wednesday, September 1, 12-2pm Eastern
You may love it or hate it, but permeable pavement as a stormwater BMP is here to stay. There have been many innovations in this technology that have allowed its use in different settings and that have responded to problems with past installations. Join this webcast and learn what the experts have to say about the various permeable pavement materials, designs, installation techniques, and maintenance. Don’t worry -- they will also let you know whether permeable designs are ADA compliant and can bear traffic loads. This webcast is jointly hosted with the Chesapeake Bay Stormwater Training Partnership.

CEUs
Continuing education credits (CEUs) are available for attending CWP webcasts. A total of 1 CEU (10 Professional Development Hours) may be earned for attending all 5 webcasts in the 2010 series. The CEU is a nationally recognized measure of participation in non-credit continuing education programs that meet established criteria for increasing competency. Attendance for each entire 2 hour webcast is required to earn the CEUs. While we encourage multiple participants per registration to make webcasts an affordable method of training, only registered participants are eligible to earn CEUs. Webcast attendees interested in CEUs should indicate this during the registration process.
Technology
iLinc technology ensures that meeting participants get into virtual sessions reliably every time.
