Description: Erosion and sediment control (ESC) programs are a fundamental element of water quality protection programs that have been around in many parts of the country for decades. Managing runoff from an active construction site while construction equipment is literally moving the ground under your feet has presented continuing challenges for the regulator and regulated communities. This webcast will provide an overview of how ESC permit implementation programs are designed to work and discuss strategies for training, plan review, inspection, and enforcement that have been successful at improving on-site compliance.

Please consider taking the short survey at the link below to help the Center for Watershed Protection to better understand who is served by our organization, as we build an inclusive culture that respects diverse perspectives in all our work. The survey takes less than 5 minutes to complete. It is voluntary and you can select “Decline to state” on any question. Thank you for participating.
